National training for digital transformation of the industry was held in Ardino
On November 27, 2024, Ardino Municipality hosted a national training focused on the digital transformation of the industry. The event was organized by the Foundation Cluster Information and Communication Technologies within the framework of the Danube DNA project, funded by the Danube Interreg 2023-2027 program. Ardino Municipality is an associate partner in the project.
The training featured insightful presentations from leading Bulgarian technology companies specializing in Industry 4.0 innovations, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of businesses in traditional sectors. The opening remarks were delivered by Ardino's Mayor, Izet Shaban, followed by a presentation from Mr. Petar Statev, Chairman of the ICT Cluster, who outlined the significant benefits of integrating digital solutions in production and agriculture.
The program continued with detailed sessions on cutting-edge technologies, including robotics, energy efficiency, digital twins, and the Internet of Things (IoT), highlighting their potential to revolutionize industrial processes. Additionally, successful urban management and environmental improvements implemented by Burgas Municipality were shared as valuable case studies.
