Round table "Industrial and Digital Transformation - Update of RIS3"

ICT Cluster organized a meeting with representatives of the policy makers responsible for the creation and implementation of the Research and innovation Strategies for Smart Specialisation (RIS3) and other instruments for the support of digital transformation of the production oriented SMEs. The aim of the round table meeting was in order to discuss the problems and challenges for that are met during the policy making for the digital transformation support.

The meeting that was held on 28th of March at Grand Hotel Sofia, on which representatives of Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria, Operational programme "Innovation and Competitiveness", as well representative from BASSCOM as a business support organisation and partner of ICT Cluster.

Anna Naydenova made a short presentation about the aim of the projects, activities and current results of Smart Factory Hub project. After the introduction of the project all participants had a discussion about the problems the business meat during the transition to digital oriented processes and industry 4.0, the need of update of the RIS3 document and current and future supporting instruments for the production oriented SMEs.
